Reincarnation

A lady by the name of Carol Bowman wrote a book called “Children's Past Lives: How Past Life Memories Affect Your Child” and I read it thinking it would just be interesting.  I didn’t believe in reincarnation myself but as a Sci-Fi geek I thought it would be a fun book.

Actually it freaked me out a bit.   The details these kids were telling their parents of how they died gave me Goosebumps.  One girl gave details of seeing bubbles come up from their mouth as the car they were in drove off a bridge, prior to that detailed confession the child would make sure her mother had her seatbelt on every time they drove.  Crazy yet the details given could not be made up by these young kids.

Read it for yourself and see how these evaluations were conducted to make sure these things were authentic.  Another author to read up on is Dr. Jim Tucker.  Do your own research and see for yourself.

Alexander the Great conquered the known world and many people, especially us Greeks praise him for that.  We don’t know however what he thought of his campaign and his achievement or what he learned from them.

Years ago Edgar Cayce “The Sleeping Profit” amazed the world and himself through his sleep “trance” state saying that people reincarnated and had hundreds of past lives.  Most of the ancient world until Christianity believed in reincarnation so this isn’t something new.

What was revealed by Edgar Cayce was amazing because if you go and research for yourself the lives of these two men you will be amazed.

Edgar Cayce said this specific soul was interested in nation building and the first thing I thought of was the union of the Greek City States and how Alexander went off to get revenge on the Persians for what they did to the Greeks as well as expand Greece.

The Comparison

Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence as a formal statement uniting the colonies and breaking away from Great Britain.

When Alexander burned Persepolis he also had the tomb of Cyrus decorated as he looked up to this leader who ruled by being fair and equal to all.  Something Alexander knew about by reading Xenophon’s Cyropaedia when he was young.

Thomas Jefferson owned two copies of the Cyropaedia and held them as Alexander held the Odyssey and the Iliad.

Alexander’s last 11 years were spent on exploration.  The expeditions he sent out returned with information of regions unexplored or at least unexplored to the knowledge of their history and time.  What Alexander collected later was used by his general after Alexander’s death.  His general became the Pharaoh of Egypt and created the Library of Alexandria housing what Alexander found and kept adding to the library in any way possible.  The library suffered a few destructions with the final one being a huge fire that brought the great library to its end.

The library of congress was also burned down and Thomas Jefferson sold his personal collection of books to the library of congress so it can be restored.

Did this soul try to help in situations where he couldn’t in his past life as Alexander?  Did his understanding as Alexander help him put things in perspective as Thomas Jefferson and help design a nation that can better protect itself?

On a smaller note the olive tree was sacred in Greece and Thomas Jefferson was also crazy about it to the point that he wanted the south to grow olive trees for food and profit.  Thomas Jefferson was also a big philhellene and as the reincarnated Alexander he had a good reason for it.

At the end of it all it’s not the nationality but the nation and the souls that bring their wisdom to the people that help create a better world for us.

You can decide for yourself and with your own research regarding Alexander the Great’s reincarnation as Thomas Jefferson.
